Yin Yoga – Gentle Practise

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, therapeutic style of yoga. Yin Yoga’s unique approach allows you to relax into postures, allowing the body to soften and release naturally without pushing or straining. Postures are held for longer periods of time than other styles of yoga, creating a meditative energy as the mind shifts from yang to yin (active to passive).

Yin incorporates the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, by stimulating acupressure points along the channels of the subtle body known as ‘meridians’. By stimulating desired acupressure points whilst in postures you will release blockages and stagnant emotions, and boost your overall health and wellbeing.
