Winter Nourishment – Restorative Yoga Course Commences 10th July

In this course we are taking advantage of the cooler weather by slowing down, going within and nourishing the body from the inside out. We will be combining traditional Restorative Yoga techniques with meditation, visualisation, and breath-work to overcome the busy-ness of the mind and allow complete release of tension and stress.
Restorative Yoga is exactly as it sounds, restful and restorative to the body. All postures are passive and often modified or supported to allow the body to completely soften whilst lengthening connective tissues. During the 8 weeks we will be combining restorative yoga postures with a series of meditation and visualisation techniques to help shed your limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns. We will create a temporarily release of the external world in order to assist you in deepening your connection to self and to allow you to be completely nourished and spoilt in a gentle, yet powerful way.
This course is suitable for all shapes and sizes and all walks of life. As the practise is slow and gentle it is also the perfect practise if you are nursing any injuries as the postures can easily be modified to suit your needs.
